I have spent more than three decades in the executive seat.

I founded RSP Consulting because I believe that experienced counsel is one of the most valuable things a leader can have. Not a template. Not a framework borrowed from a business school. Counsel that comes from actually doing the work, navigating the hard moments, and learning what matters.

I have served as Executive Director of Temporary Emergency Services since 1990. Over more than three decades, I have led the organization through recessions, a tornado, a pandemic, and every kind of ordinary Tuesday that tests a leader’s judgment, patience, and resolve.

I have served on boards, chaired committees, navigated governance challenges, managed difficult board and executive relationships, and helped organizations find their footing when the path was not clear. I know what it feels like to carry those decisions without a roadmap.

I hold a Ph.D. in Instructional Leadership with an emphasis in Social and Cultural Studies, a Master of Social Work, and a Bachelor of Social Work. I am an Adjunct Instructor at The University of Alabama School of Social Work, and I serve as an At-Large Director for The Association of Junior Leagues International for the 2025 to 2028 term.
